First do your homework "Admission requirements & opening dates"
Norway is a Scandinavian country with an official language of Norwegian and currency is Norwegian kronor
- if you have completed 16 year's of education from Pakistan you are eligible for a master's programme in Norway
- Norway offers all undergraduate programmes in Norwegian language so it requires Norwegian language proficiency to get admission in an undergraduate programme. There are some private universities they do offer admission in English against tuition fee but there are very low chances of getting visa in an undergraduate programme as it is their internal visa policy about bachelors programme
- Admissions are opened from first of October to 1st of December each year while some universities open their admission portal in January.
Ielts is must for Norway nd each university has its own requirement for ielts but in general a band score of 6.5 is needed
Education in Norway is totally free there is no tuition fee required in public universities of Norway
- while submitting your admission application you need to attach your bank statement with that because Norwegian higher education institutions make sure that you have all necessary funds to support yourself for getting education in Norway "At a very initial stage" so you must attach bank statement with your admission application
- bank statement of 123519 Norwegian kroner is required
- Bank statement should be 3 to 6 months old
- you can attach the bank statement of your blood relations or family friends etc with an affidavit of support
- once you are granted an admission letter you have to Transfer the same Amount into the bank account of Norwegian university
- this is not a block account once you'll enter in Norway you'll need to register yourself with the local police station and after registering with them you'll need to do some paper work afterwards you can open a bank account in Norway once the account is opened you can transfer the whole amount that you've transfered previously into university account into your own bank account in a single transaction. Then it's entirely up to you to send it back to Pakistan there's no restriction on that
- it might take up to 3 months to get all the money back
Work allowed and settlement opportunities
- Full time work isn't allowed on student residence permit
- you can work up to 20 hours in a week and 80 hours in a month
- once you are done with your master's studies you are granted a one year post study work permit you are allowed to work full time on that but after getting that you have to find a job "related to your field of studies" in order to convert it into work permit and after being on that work permit for 3 year's you become eligible to apply for permanent residency in Norway.

- Minimum wage rate in Norway is 160 Norwegian kronor which is high as compare to all the Nordic countries cox I myself have lived in Denmark nd Sweden so minimum threshold in Norway is high students can definitely manage their living expenses in the given working hours
- admission and visa process is simple once you get admission in Norway you apply visa online on Norwegian immigration site and then you send documents through VFS Global to Norwegian embassy it is highly unlikely to appear in an embassy interview
- English is widely spoken out there you can apply with your spouse nd children's. in that case you only need to show bank statement for them there's no need to Transfer their bank statement money into university account
